In all of my years as a stylist, I have learned some valuable lessons to live by in searching for the right salon and stylist.  

* Cleanliness is the best policy!  Clean shelves, floors, brushes, and combs.  As a client, you DESERVE a clean place to relax and achieve your hair happiness!

*  Without being combative, rude, or close-minded to your hair desires, your stylist should listen, guide, and exhaust every resource to help you achieve your dream hair.

* A salon home must be a place where excellence is the standard, anything less is unacceptable!

* Cheaper is not always better.  An experienced stylist that invests thousands of hours in time, money, and education to better themselves is a stylist worth paying for.  Sometimes cheaper services lead to expensive fixes!  

* Your salon experience should be enjoyable!  If you're not looking forward to spending time in your salon or hanging with your stylist - it may be time to switch!
